PETALING JAYA: Critics should give the Attorney General's Chambers the benefit of the doubt following Tan Sri Tommy Thomas' decision to drop criminal proceedings against 12 men with alleged links to the defunct Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, says Mohamed Hanipa Maidin.

The deputy law minister said while there are parties that disagreed with Thomas' decision and reasons, the Attorney General's verdict should be respected as he is a man of integrity.
