PUTRAJAYA: The anti-graft authorities have initiated their own investigation into the audio recordings believed to be linked to the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) scandal.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Latheefa Koya said the investigation is carried out to determine if there was power abuse by those in the recordings.
