Unrepentant thief nabbed for stealing from mosques


IPOH (Bernama): Being banished from the state before and having 13 previous criminal records did not change a man who was arrested for allegedly stealing money from the donation box at Shukuriah Mosque in Telok Bakong, Bota, Perak Tengah on Jan 8.

Perak Tengah OCPD Supt Barudin Wariso said the 53-year-old man was arrested in Semanggol, Kerian at 6.45pm last Friday and police also seized a Proton Iswara car and several items including adhesive tape and some cash from him.
