‘Boot out leaders who sow disunity’

MELAKA: Grassroots members should not hesitate to boot out leaders who are keen to sow disunity in the party, says Melaka Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia chief Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof.

He said party members should exercise their wisdom to make a right choice as Bersatu needs strong leadership to turn the party into a formidable force within the Pakatan Harapan coalition.

“Grassroots members should make a wise decision when casting their votes and decide whether they want a strong Bersatu or factionalised party,” he said.

Redzuan believes Melaka Bersatu enjoys good unity although there is speculation that he does not get along well with his deputy, Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen.

“It’s up to people to speculate. As for me, I work well with all of them, but those causing disunity in the party must go, and that’s my stand,” said Redzuan.

He added that the grassroots should start thinking about the type of leaders they want.
