Bukit Aman: Results of expert analysis on sex video forwarded to AGC

KUALA LUMPUR: The results of the expert analysis of a sex video implicating Datuk Seri Azmin Ali was obtained late last year, says Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed (pic).

The Bukit Aman CID director said the report, along with investigation papers, had since been forwarded to the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC).

"Both the police and the AGC will issue a joint statement on the matter soon," he told a press conference in Bukit Aman on Monday (Jan 6).

Investigators from the Special Investigation Unit (D5), he said, were meeting AGC officers on Monday (Jan 6) to discuss the sex video along with two other high-profile cases.

Comm Huzir said the two other cases were those involving PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's alleged sexual misconduct and the statutory declaration by former policeman Azilah Hadri over the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Comm Huzir also clarified that he never said he would make an announcement on the sex video late last year.

"What I actually said was that I expected the results of the expert analysis to be received late last year," he added.

Asked if Anwar would be required to undergo a polygraph test, Comm Huzir said this would depend on the discussion with the AGC.
