KUALA LUMPUR: Doctors will now be able to apply for their Annual Practising Certificate (APC) online through a system called Medical Register Information and Technical System (MeRITS).
Health Ministry director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said apart from APC application, 12 other applications could be done online through MeRITS including Amendment of Practice and Provisional Registration.
Dr Noor Hisham, however, said that for the time being, the online service would only be available at the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) headquarters here.
