Flood situation in Johor continues to improve as more victims go home


JOHOR BARU: The number of flood victims in the state has continued to drop from 5,367 people from 1,466 families at 8am on Wednesday (Dec 18) to 3,957 people from 1,074 families at 4pm on the same day.

State Local Government Urban Wellbeing and Environment Committee chairman Tan Chen Choon, in a statement here, said the number of temporary relief centres in operation has also decreased from 65 to 49 at all six affected districts in the same period.
