KUALA LUMPUR: Car-sharing service GoCar has forged a smart collaboration with Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) to provide seamless transportation service in the run-up to Visit Malaysia Year 2020.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke lauded such private-public sector cooperation as it helped promote affordable multi-modal transportation service.

"This contributes positively to the vision of offering a shared and affordable mobility solution," he said after opening the ERL and GoCar partnership at KL Sentral on Wednesday (Dec 4).

To commemorate the partnership, travellers can save up to 28% on GoCar bookings at KL Sentral when they purchase the KLIA Express and GoCar package.

GoCar president Nicholas Tan said the car-sharing service was also available at the Salak Tinggi ERL station.

"We are excited to work with ERL to realise our shared vision in providing seamless experience for those travelling to and from KLIA and KLIA2," he said.

ERL chief executive officer Noormah Mohd Noor said the KLIA Express and GoCar package would offer a seamless journey for customers who appreciated speed and reliability of the train services.

"With Visit Malaysia Year 2020 just around the corner, it is timely that we can offer visitors such a versatile package together with GoCar," she said.
