Melaka PKR chief fails in bid to become senator (updated)


MELAKA: Melaka PKR chairman Datuk Halim Bachik (pic) has failed to secure a senator post – the state's representative to the Dewan Negara – after two assemblymen from his own party failed to show up to vote.

The Melaka state assembly has 15 representatives from Pakatan Harapan and 13 from Barisan Nasional.
