KUALA LUMPUR: The national anthem and the Rukunegara should be played and read out before the start of the Dewan Rakyat, says Jempol MP Datuk Mohd Salim Mohd Sharif.
"In improving loyalty towards the country, does the ministry have any plans to start the proceedings of the Dewan Rakyat by playing the national anthem and reading the Rukun Negara?" he asked in a supplementary question to Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Waytha Moorthy during Question Time.
