PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad met with two victims of the terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, in his office on Wednesday (Oct 16).
According to Dr Mahathir's Facebook page, Mohd Nazri Hisham Omar, together with Rahimi Ahmad and his family, met the premier at the Perdana Putra building.
"During the meeting, they both shared that they held no grudges on that incident and were in fact, grateful to see the support given by the New Zealand people and its government," Dr Mahathir said.
Dr Mahathir added that the men also told him that the New Zealand people also expressed their interest in learning and understanding Islam.
The Christchurch terror attacks on two mosques on March 15, left 50 people dead and dozens more injured.
