Voluntary liquidation strictly for business, to save Utusan brand, say former group chief editor

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): The decision by Utusan Melayu management to choose creditors’ voluntary liquidation of the newspaper is to save the newspaper's brand and license, says Tan Sri Johan Jaafar (pic).

The former Utusan Melayu group chief editor also alleged that it only looked at the business interest even though more than 800 employees lost their jobs in an instant due to the decision.
