Celebrity Amira denies riding on her brother’s fame

ACTRESS, singer and TV host Amira Othman (pic) has denied that she’s trying to ride on her brother’s fame, Kosmo! reported.

The 25-year-old explained that her constant appearance next to brother Irfan Haris, 17, was due to a strong family bond and mutual support for each other.

“I want to clarify that neither I nor Irfan Haris is riding on (each other’s) popularity and that we both work hard in our own careers, ” she said.

She said that her bond with Irfan was not merely for show, unlike what people make it out to be.

> A man was thought to have died when his car stopped in front of a traffic light for 30 minutes in George Town, Sinar Harian reported.

It turned out that the driver, who caused a traffic jam, was asleep.

The paper said actor Zizan Rizak happened to be among the motorists stuck in the strange incident.

In a viral video uploaded to his Instagram account, motorists can be seen knocking on the car’s window and shaking the car.

After these failed, they used a hammer to break a back door window before opening the driver’s door. They managed to wake the driver up, who was stunned to see so many people.
