KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Law Society (SLS) wants to see more judges with Bornean experience hearing cases from Sabah and Sarawak, as they will show more empathy and understanding towards the unique situations surrounding communities from there.
Its president Roger Chin said this following a Federal Court ruling that dismissed an application by a group of Sarawakians to review a 2016 decision over native customary land rights.
