Anwar on 'no vacancy' comment: Thank you, I've never offered to join the Cabinet


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says he has never offered himself to be a member of the Cabinet and would take over the premiership when the time was right.

The Port Dickson MP said this in response to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad's statement that there was currently "no vacancy" in the Cabinet.
