Syed Saddiq: Forgive Zakir Naik and move on

PETALING JAYA: Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has called on Malaysians to forgive controversial preacher Dr Zakir Naik and move on.

The Youth and Sports Minister posted a photo on his Instagram account of him and Zakir sharing a meal.

"No one in this world is free from mistakes. Zakir has apologised. I myself have make mistakes and accept it when called out on it. There is no need to insult and curse. Let's move on. The country needs healing," he said in the post on Saturday (Aug 24).

Syed Saddiq added that Malaysia as a multicultural country is strong in the unity of its people.
