M’sian teen conquers Mount Elbrus

PETALING JAYA: Sixteen-year-old student Sara Sofea has successfully conquered Mount Elbrus in Russia, which is the highest peak in Europe.

The Form Four student from SM Sains Kuala Selangor, Selangor, managed to scale Mount Elbrus, a peak of 5, 642m, on Aug 15 at 4.25pm, becoming the youngest girl in Southeast Asia to do so.
