Woman fined RM14, 000 for possessing fake branded shoes


KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): A businesswoman was fined RM14, 000 in default three months' jail by the Sessions Court here Wednesday (Aug 7) with the possession of 88 pairs of fake branded shoes for sale.

Judge Manira Mohd Nor sentenced 56-year-old Lim Sow Fong her to a fine of RM1, 500 or two months' imprisonment for the first charge, RM2, 500 or three months' jail for the second charge and RM10, 000 or four months' jail for the third charge after she pleaded guilty to the three counts of having fake goods.
