MACC urges state govts to implement asset declaration for lawmakers

MELAKA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is calling upon all state governments to emulate the Federal Government's move to have lawmakers declare their assets.

MACC Chief Commissioner Latheefa Koya said the move would help the graftbusters to monitor any element of wrongdoing or abuse of power by lawmakers.
