Use firearms only as last resort to control animals, says Agriculture Minister

KUALA LUMPUR: Firearms should only be used as a last resort to control any animal, says Datuk Salahuddin Ayub.

The Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister said the Animal Welfare Act 2015 states that no animals can be killed using firearms unless it was a desperate measure.
