Man arrested for allegedly threatening to use black magic on police officer

KUALA KANGSAR: A man was arrested here Wednesday (June 19) after allegedly threatening to use black magic on a traffic police officer and throw his son's faeces on him.

Kuala Kangsar OCPD ACP Razali Ibrhaim said the 36-year-old labourer was arrested shortly after the traffic police officer Isma Nizam Ishak issued a summons to him for not wearing his seat belt.

“When our officer noticed he was not wearing his seat belt, they asked the suspect for his MyKad. Suddenly, he threatened to throw his son's faeces and expressed his intention to cast santau (black magic) on Isma Nizam.

“Other officers nearby heard him threatening Isma Nizam. The suspect said he allegedly threatened our officer because he was dissatisfied about receiving the summonses,” he said.

Razali said the suspect was brought to the Kuala Kangsar district police headquarters for further investigation.
