Suspend aide who confessed to being in sex video, say Selangor PKR Youth leaders

PETALING JAYA: The aide who confessed to being one of the two men in a viral sex video should be suspended from his post in the Primary Industry and Commodities Ministry, say PKR Youth leaders.

Kuala Selangor PKR Youth leader MU Raja, who claimed to be speaking on behalf of all Selangor PKR Youth leaders, said Deputy Primary Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin must suspend his private secretary Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz (pic) after his confession.

"The suspension must be immediate.

"This is because Mohammad Haziq has confessed to being in a porn video, which we believe is fake, involving a national figure.

"We are of the opinion that the ministry, as well as the government, has been scarred because of a planned conspiracy that mirrors what happened 20 years ago.

"The aide should not be allowed to officially have any contact with government agencies and the public to ensure the credibility of the ministry," said Raja in a statement Wednesday (June 12).

Checks with his office showed that Muhammad Haziq did not turn up for work today.

For the past two days, a video of two men engaging in sexual acts, with one resembling a minister, has been making its rounds on social media and via WhatsApp.

Early on Wednesday (June 12), Mohammad Haziq confessed on Facebook that he was the man in the sex video.

He named the minister allegedly in the video and said the latter was not fit to be a leader.

Muhammad Haziq also called on the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to investigate the minister for corruption.
