PKR to lodge two reports against Haziq

SHAH ALAM: Deputy PKR Youth chief Hilman Idham will lodge a two reports on Thursday (June 13) against Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz for claiming that he was the other man in a sex video implicating Economics Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

Hilman, who's also Azmin's political secretary, said the first report would be lodged at the Putrajaya district police headquarters at 10am on Thursday (June 13).

"We must remember that the confession made by Haziq is a criminal confession, which we will lodge a police report against, tomorrow (June 13)."

Hilman was speaking to reporters after holding a prayers at the Mentri Besar's residence in Shah Alam on Wednesday (June 12).

After that, Hilman said a qazaf report will be lodged at the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department in Putrajaya to clear Azmin's name.

Commenting further, Hilman said he was always with Azmin during the Sandakan by-election as his political secretary and he had never witnesses any inappropriate behaviour.

On Wednesday Haziq admitted that he was the other individual seen in a sex video, which has been making its rounds on social media and WhatsApp over the past two days.

Haziq is also the senior private secretary to Deputy Primary Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin.

He claimed that the video was taken without his permission on May 11 during the Sandakan by-election in his room at Hotel Four Points.

Azmin, in a statement released later Wednesday, denied the allegations.

"I refer to the various media reports today publishing the allegations of an individual regarding a sex video purporting to implicate me. I categorically deny this vicious libel upon me.

"This is nothing but a nefarious plot to assassinate my reputation and character in an attempt to destroy my political career," he said.
