PETALING JAYA: A portal which posted the viral sex video allegedly involving a man resembling a minister has been blocked by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

As of late Tuesday (June 11) evening, Sabahkini2.com was the only portal that had posted the video of two men engaging in sexual activities.

A source close to MCMC said the portal was repeatedly advised to take down the video but ignored the orders from MCMC.

In the last two days, the video has become a hot topic as one of the men in the video resembles a senior minister.

Early on Wednesday morning (June 12), a man known as Muhammad Haziq Abdul Aziz confessed to being one of the men in the video and went on to name the minister.

MCMC has been contacted for comments on the exact violation under the Communications and Multimedia Act.
