Look into abused maid’s case, A-G told

BUKIT MERTAJAM: The MP whose aide lodged a police report against an employer for allegedly abusing her Indonesian maid, who later died of her injuries, has written to the Attorney-General’s office after the murder charge was dropped.

In a statement, Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim said he had contacted the AG to seek clarification after learning of the recent court decision.“The AG has responded that he will personally investigate and look into the next course of action.
