Mohamad lauds late Lim for championing Malaysian palm oil

SEREMBAN: Tun Dr Lim Keng Yaik (pic) may have passed on more than six years ago but the former minister is still fondly remembered and credited for making Malaysian palm oil one of the most sought after commodities globally then, says Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

The Barisan candidate for the Rantau by-election said Dr Lim took the bull by its horns each time the price of the commodity fell due to external attacks and never came up with ridiculous ideas like asking Malaysians to take a spoonful on a daily basis to make them look younger.
