MELAKA: Thirty garbage truck drivers could not escape the long arm of the law while trying to discard waste materials into rivers and open spaces since end of last year.
Housing, Local Government and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Tey Kok Kiew said the truck drivers were slapped with hefty compounds after they were caught red-handed on-site.
