SEPANG (Bernama): Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the government's move to launch its third national car project was to enable Malaysians to learn and understand automotive engineering technology.

He was of the opinion that Malaysians 'know nothing' and lacked knowledge in regards to the automotive engineering industry.
