PETALING JAYA: The Election Commission should hold a special meeting by Friday (Feb 15) to ratify decisions related to the Semenyih by-election to avoid legal ramifications in the future, says former chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof.

He said this includes nomination, early voting and polling dates, as well as endorsing the electoral roll, adding that the move is essential since the EC is no longer being single-handedly run by the chairman.
