MELAKA: The state's tourism industry in showing an upward trend is contrary to media reports, says Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Dr Mohd Khalil Yaakob.
"I personally walked around tourist hotspots and discovered these places are flooded with tourists from Europe, Japan, China as well as India.
