Najib: Kit Siang should be appointed ‘Minister of Najib Affairs’

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak (pic) has taken another potshot at DAP adviser Lim Kit Siang, saying the latter should appoint himself the “Minister of Najib Affairs”.

The former Prime Minister made the tongue-in-cheek statement on Facebook, in response to the barrage of statements Lim has released about him.

“Every day, Lim will release at least one statement to attack me,” Najib said on Monday (Jan 21).

“It seems that this uncle cannot control his obsession over me. I think it is better if Lim asked to be appointed ‘Minister of Najib Affairs’.

“This way, he can get an official car, salary, and even a minister’s allowance,” he said.

Najib made the comment following Lim’s latest media statement calling for young Felda settlers to emulate Chef Wan, who made headlines after saying he wanted to slap Najib.

“Chef Wan, the world-famous celebrity chef, whose real name is Redzuanwan Ismail, should be the role model for all young Felda settlers in Malaysia to become world champions, and not to emulate wrong models to become the king of kleptocracy or of trolls,” Lim said earlier Monday.

“Chef Wan was enraged when asked about Najib’s claim of a ‘golden age’ for Felda settlers, on the grounds that they had received bonuses and high salaries,” he said, adding that Chef Wan would be a gold standard for Felda youth to emulate.
