Bangsar South now known as Kampung Kerinchi

KUALA LUMPUR: Bangsar South is now once again to be known as Kampung Kerinchi.

In a proclamation ceremony on Saturday (Jan 19), the urban settlement which started in 1870s was declared to return to its old name Kampung Kerinchi.

The event was officiated by PKR president and Port Dickson MP Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

It was also attended by Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil and Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar.
