Sabah CPO: Suspect who held child hostage only said 'Rashid' during standoff


KOTA KINABALU: The man who held a two-year-old girl hostage at the Telipok Ria flats on Sunday (Jan 13) only said "Rashid" to police negotiators.

Sabah police commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah said that throughout the five-hour standoff, the suspect - who is still not identified -  had only said one word, which was "Rashid".
