Identity of dead hostage-taker still unknown, post-mortem to be carried out

KOTA KINABALU: Police are still in the process of identifying the suspect who held a toddler hostage in Telipok Ria flats some 10km from here.

Tuaran police chief Deputy Supt Dzulbaharin Ismail said the suspect, who was shot dead after negotiations failed, was in his 30s.
