Kesas highway hit by flash flood

PETALING JAYA: A heavy downpour caused a flash flood along the Kesas Highway, heading towards Bukit Jalil on Tuesday (Dec 11).

Traffic was slow due to the heavy rain around the Awan Besar and Sri Petaling toll plazas on the highway since 4pm.

However, according to Kesas Highway's Twitter account, the flash flood occurred about 5.30pm, causing massive traffic along the highway heading towards Bukit Jalil and Kuala Lumpur.

Traffic around Bukit Jalil has been building Tuesday evening due to the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 final between Malaysia and Vietnam at the National Stadium Tuesday night.
