Qatar's Emir arrives in Putrajaya to meet Dr Mahathir


PUTRAJAYA: The Emir of Qatar has arrived at the Prime Minister's office in Perdana Putra here to kickstart his working visit to Malaysia.

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad greeted the Emir, Sheikh Tamim Hamad Al-Thani, who arrived at 10am on Thursday (Dec 6).

Both men are scheduled to hold discussions aimed at promoting bilateral relations.

They are expected to talk about a number of regional and international issues of common interest.

The Prime Minister will also be hosting lunch for the Emir of Qatar and his delegates at Seri Perdana.
