Court strikes out three applications in housing developer's suit against ex-Felda chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: A High Court here has struck out three applications by parties in a defamation suit by housing developer Synergy Promenade Sdn Bhd against former Felda chairman Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad (pic).

Shahrir's counsel Farah Shuhadah Razali told reporters that Judicial Commissioner Darryl Goon made the decision after Synergy Promenade's new solicitors proposed the three interlocutory applications to be withdrawn without cost.
