PUTRAJAYA: A male dance teacher has claimed trial at the Special Court for Sexual Offences Against Children here to eight counts of physical sexual assault and performing oral sex on a 15-year-old student.
On Friday (Oct 26), Lee Meng Chun was accused of committing four counts of carnal intercourse against the order of nature without consent and another four charges of physically sexually assaulting the boy by touching his private parts.
Lee, 42, was charged under Section 377C of the Penal Code with committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature and Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
The offences were allegedly committed in a community hall in Serdang between April and June 13 this year.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Aimi Syazwani Sarmin offered no bail as it involved a minor and multiple charges.
Lee's counsel Teaw Zhen Yang asked for a minimum bail amount.
Sessions judge Yong Zarida Sazali later set bail at RM10,000 for each charge in one surety pending mention on Nov 23.
She also instructed the accused to surrender his passport, report at the nearest police station once a month and ordered him not to disturb the victim or prosecution witnesses.
