KUALA LUMPUR: Producers of the Hollywood adaptation of the best-selling book Billion Dollar Whale might have just "discovered" their first cast member – Comm Datuk Seri Amar Singh (pic).
The Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director joked that he would "consider" a part in the movie on the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) scandal.
"I've got no comments (on the movie).
"Probably, they (the producers) would need to call me to act in a part for the raid at Pavilion (Residences). I know you want me to say that," he joked, sending a packed press conference into laughter.
At a press conference at the CCID headquarters here on Friday, Comm Amar was asked to comment on a report that Tan Sri Michele Yeoh would be producing a movie based on the book Billion Dollar Whale.
"It is all in jest," he clarified on his so-called aspiring acting career.
