Deputy IGP: Police will be next to question Rosmah

GEORGE TOWN: Following a marathon 13-hour questioning session with the MACC, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor (pic) could face another gruelling interview, this time with the police, says Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim.

The Deputy Inspector-General of Police said that the wife of the former prime minister would need to prove legitimate ownership of the jewellery that was seized from residences linked to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

"Rosmah will be called again, as the seized jewellery pieces are alleged to be hers.

"We will need her to identify and confirm the items. It is expected to be a long process, as there are many items and we need to trace them back to the seller," he said during a press conference here on Thursday (Sept 27).
