SHAH ALAM: Join the tens of thousands of people expected to be at the countdown to National Day at i-City’s “Terima Kasih Malaysia” event here.
The event will be held from 8pm today until midnight.
Among other attractions, visitors can take pictures of Malaysia’s first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman declaring independence at Dataran Merdeka in 1957 at the Red Carpet 2 – Malaysia’s first interactive wax museum.
The guest of honour for this event is PKR president-elect Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He will set off a fireworks display at the stroke of midnight.
There will also be cultural dances and performances such as the lion dance, dikir barat and silat.
