Mujahid: Stop picking on transgenders


PUTRAJAYA: Discrimination against people who are transgender in Malaysia has got to stop, says the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in charge of religious affairs.

Datuk Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa said the Government could also consider introducing anti-discrimination policies to protect the “vulnerable” transgender group, but admitted more understanding on the issue was needed.
