US State Department corrects venue blunder


PETALING JAYA: The US State Department has made a correction to a blunder that implied Singapore is a part of Malaysia.  

On Monday (June 11), Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, in posting the transcript of a press briefing on the Department’s official website, had mentioned the venue as “JW Marriott, Singapore, Malaysia”.
