At MACC, all eyes on Rosmah's outfit and accessories

PUTRAJAYA: As Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor arrived at the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters, all eyes were fixed on her outfit and accessories.

The wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak alighted from a silver Mercedes Benz at 10.45am on Tuesday, clad in a blue baju kurung with a red headscarf.

But as she walked swiftly indoors from her car, many reporters tried to identify the bright red handbag that she was carrying, which matched the colour of her headscarf.

Social media users were quicker with their investigative work, as a number of them had pointed out the bag resembled a “Demetra” by Versace.

In terms of value, it is a lot less than the Hermes Birkin bags that were seized by police in Kuala Lumpur, in an ongoing investigation on Najib by the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Department.

Rosmah is currently being questioned by MACC in relation to the SRC International Sdn Bhd case, where money was said to have been transferred into Najib’s personal accounts.

SRC International was a subsidiary of the scandal-plagued 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) sovereign fund.
