Cuffed over stunt with clamp

Driven up the wall: The enraged man jacking up his car to replace the clamped wheel with a spare tyre as the council enforcers look on coolly and snap photos without reacting.

GEORGE TOWN: A motorist thought he could lodge a police report against city council enforcers for being rude, but found himself arrested instead because he allegedly freed his car after it was clamped for illegal parking.

It all started on Monday when he parked his car illegally in Beach Street near a bank and Penang Island City Council (MBPP) enforcers duly clamped his wheel at 12.45pm.
