Logging made water polluted, say villagers


KUANTAN, 25 Mei -- Penduduk kampung Kuala Kenau menunjukkan hasil mendapan ketika mencuci kolam takungan yang tercemar dipercayai akibat aktiviti pembalakan di kawasan tadahan air bersih penduduk kampung, hari ini.Penduduk sudah tidak berani untuk menggunakan air yang disalurkan ke rumah mereka daripada kolam takungan berkenaan kerana warna sudah menjadi seakan teh tarik dan ada penduduk yang gatal-gatal selepas menggunakan air itu.Penduduk mendakwa sebelum ada aktiviti pembalakan di kawasan tadahan air, mereka bebas menggunakan air yang disalurkan ke rumah mereka tetapi sekarang tidak dapat menggunakan air bersih itu lagi. --fotoBERNAMA (2018) HAK CIPTA TERPELIHARA
