Lingam fails in bid to practise in Malaysia

Lingam: The High Court dismissed his appeal with RM5,000 in costs.

KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran lawyer Datuk V.K. Lingam failed to overturn a decision to bar him from practising law in Malaysia.

This follows the dismissal of his appeal to set aside the decision of the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board (DB) that he be struck off the Rolls of Advocates and Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya.
