PUTRAJAYA: Both the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 and the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education) will be continued, says Dr Maszlee Malik.
The new Education Minister said, however, that the blueprints will undergo mid-term reviews.
"The evaluations are part of the efforts to strengthen the implementation of both blueprints and ensure they are understood by all stakeholders," he said after clocking in for duty at the Education Ministry on Tuesday (May 22).
The Simpang Renggam MP said that those at the execution level such as teachers and lecturers need to understand the blueprints.
He also said the ministry will focus on getting those at the school and university levels to understand what has been planned in the blueprints.
"Everything that has been planned can only go well if they (stakeholders) are involved more inclusively," said Dr Maszlee.
He is the 19th Education Minister and will helm the newly merged Education Ministry and Higher Education Ministry.
The ministries were split in 2015 when former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak reshuffled his Cabinet.
