PETALING JAYA: The former CEO of 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) and a board member who has been with the fund since it was set up have been placed on the Immigration Department's travel blacklist.
A check on the identification card numbers of Tan Sri Ismee Ismail and Datuk Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi on the Department's Travel Status Enquiry System (SSPI) showed the results "Sila rujuk ke pejabat imigresen terdekat" (Please refer to the nearest immigration office).
