PETALING JAYA: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) is slated to field a controversial figure who is being investigated over a Felda scandal to take on Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at the polls in Pekan, Pahang.
Local portals have reported that Pribumi has replaced Kamarul Ariffin Mohd Shahar, the candidate previously announced to contest in Pekan, with Muhammad Zahid Mohd Arip.
